@krock I deleted the original message due to some mistakes on my side. It seems like I am required to run the game repair every time I switch the sub_channel. The diff was from when the game was still on the Epic version, not the default one because I did not repair the files before diffing. Like @cybik mentioned, vanilla wine does not launch the game due to mhyprot3. But I've also had no success with GE-Proton7-55 through Lutris and the official launcher for the same reason. Trying Heroic, it does launch the game but I am unable to log in due to `31-4302`. Heroic version has `sub_channel=3` and `cps=pcseaepic` instead of `cps=mihoyo` in `config.ini`.

I want to add that when `sub_channel=0`, which was on my system by default, the game will fail to load mhyprot3, additionally a pop up telling me that some resources could not be downloaded would appear. After modifying the sub_channel to 3, the launcher prompts for a small update and the game launches but returns the `31-4302` error. Then switching to sub_channel 6 does not prompt a update anymore, the game launches but won't let you log in due to `31-4302` again. The weird part is, when switching back to sub_channel=0, it enters the same state as the other sub channels. Only after repairing the files using the launcher does it return to the original state of not launching the game. The game does not launch on my end independent of the sub_channel.
