This sounds like Pagure is soon gonna be compatible with LibreJS already! Honestly I wasn't expecting this, great work!

i had a promising result making the demo examples of the WT platform acceptable to libreJS - not sure how well it scales to full sites but so far it was easier than when i did it for rails boilerplate

Wt is still a contender for the HTML frontend parts. The only downside I see with it is that it lacks some flexibility, but the benefits are huge.
One of the downsides is actually that it includes its own http server, this may be a problem as I need another http server to expose the rest endpoints. Maybe Wt can also implement that, if it can I think it may be the ideal solution.
