There's a bunch of farming foods, including some of the particularly high-value ones, that are missing from diet. This pull request adds in at least some of them. I am aware that animalia is also completely missing from diet.
Long-term, a better solution should be found for registering foods from mods in diet, or a better library for the same general effect. Perhaps use groups to mark items as edible, with a nutritional value? At the very least, this would allow diet to iterate over all items and identify edibles automatically for override.
