I'm glad that you like quickpass and would like to use it with the Uruk project! Due to the nature of the GPL v3, you are more than welcome to fork and adapt it by any means you wish - so don't ask if you can fork, just fork!
If you would like to have me to join the Uruk project, I'll do my best to contribute, but please be aware that I'm not the best programmer around, neither do I have a lot of time in my day. Is there anywhere I could sign up for the project? A git repository perhaps? Please let me know.
I like the idea behind Uruk GNU/Linux, though, especially concerning UPMS. I had long thought about writing a script that emulated a "universal installer" for Linux distributions, and I think UPMS is a close candidate to that.
Yours,
kzimmermann

Sure, I can help you out. Including quickpass there could be a good first step!
Is there a mailing list, forum or IRC channel where you coordinate development?

Instead of my name, I'd rather that you used the handle kzimmermann instead, and my email address is kzimmermann__AT__vivaldi__DOT__net.
Thank you for your instructions! I will use that same email to subscribe to the mailing list, so you can confirm it's me. In the meantime, I'll try to get into IRC with this very handle.
Thank you Ali, and in the meantime best wishes to the Uruk Project!
Yes! Please include it in the Uruk project.

There is already a better attempt at making a "universal installer" than this unmaintained "Uruk Package Managers Simulator". Check out Calamares (YouTube)
