- Suggest, discuss and choose names for components in the system.
- How It Works
- ===============
- There are four lists to work with:
- 1. The list of components in the [[list]] page
- 2. A list of names
- 3. A list of match suggestions
- 4. A list of decisions
- The first list contains component descriptions and short identifiers which
- allow to refer to them from here.
- The second list contains name suggestions in a two-level hierarchy which
- works as follows:
- * The items in the first level are English words.
- * If a word is not intended to be used as a name, and only its translations
- are, it is written inside parentheses.
- * On the second level, translations may appear, one per line, and the language
- for each translation.
- Example:

- + Ahava (Hebrew)
- + Aimer (French)
- (Energy)
- "Energy" in this example means I don't intend to use the word Energy itself,
- but I intend to check translations and haven't done so yet.
- The third list contains component references and names suggested for
- them. These names remain in the name list as long as they are just
- suggestions. The same name can be suggested for more than one component.
- The fourth list contains component references and names chosen for them. When
- a name is chosen, it is removed from the name list. The details of the name
- (language, translation, etc.) move with it to the decision list, so it's
- easy to move it back to the name list in case a decision is reverted.
