- There is a paste server instance at [[!rel4sub paste]]. It can highlight some
- languages, and automatically posts links into IRC channels (if the paste author
- name is your IRC nickname).
- The software is a (slightly modified, see below) [[!hackage hpaste]], written
- by Chris Done.
- The code is at [[!notabug fr33domlover/toothpaste]].
- Examples for some of the changes made:
- - Use [[fr33domlover]]'s e-mail address as the contact URL. This is done for
- two reasons: First, it is the person who maintains this instance. Second, the
- default address, Chris Done's, is a gmai1 address. And I don't want to
- endorse or suggest gmai1 in any way. Feels wrong to put a gmai1 address
- there.
- - Remove the JS code of g00gle ana1ytic$.
- - Fix and tweak some hard-coded URLs and labels
- - Add an SQL file with some initial data (languages and channels)
- - Disable IRC announcements of private pastes
- Maybe I'll try Pamrel too. It can highlight many languages and seems to be a
- better general-purpose paste server, despite being young. I chose hpaste
- because it's written in Haskell and I can learn from it and get some experience
- while tweaking it.
