minetest.ir shell server

The first one on ARM!

This is the first shell server running on ARM and a creepy internet connection.

You can use my tiny Pi to do and/or learn some programming which is only possible on processors with ARM architecture.

Why Minetest?

Minetest is the name for an open world voxel game(see minetest.net). This name is chosen for the shell server because...

• I already had the minetest.ir domain name.
• I play Minetest a lot.

It's a very entertaining game especially if you like PvP, Rubenwardy's Minetest CTF is very fun.

Hardware specs

It is a tiny and cute NanoPi NEO:

• Allwinner H3 1.1GHz Quad core(ARMhf)
• 512MB RAM/Memory
• 8GB microSD as storage

Softwares installed

• GNU Assembler so that you can try ARM assembly
• tmux so that you can manage stuff
• sbcl so that you can try Common Lisp on ARM and see how does it behave
• gcc and g++
• clang and clang++

What do you get

• 1/3 core processor which you must not use it constantly
• 128MB Memory
• 32MB storage
• your web space at yourusername.minetest.ir
