<title>Why this library was created?</title>

<p>This library contains the features I'm missing in the Standard C++
library. It's a kind of my personal
<link href="http://www.boost.org/">Boost</link>.</p>

<p>Additionally, it's an abstraction layer that hides implementation details,
quirks and idiosyncrasies of OS'es, compilers and the standard library
implementations.</p>
