#40 [Wine 6.0] Frequent Stutter Issues

Hi,

while the Games does run (Without crashes, seamless installation, thanks mate!), i'm experiencing very frequent stuttering.

My Hardware is probably powerful enough (Amd Vega 56, Ryzen 2700X) for this not to happen, though. They are also unlike the shader generation stutter, as they are much longer (the game halts for about 4s each time, instead of .5s)

Wine 6.0 Staging, Latest DXVK.

Would appreciate any help!

Unfortunately I cannot find anything specific towards this issue. All I can recommend it to

1. Check your temps: https://community.spiceworks.com/topic/2210249-vega-64-is-microstuttering-and-causing-frame-drops-in-anything-below-dx12
2. Check whether vsync works: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/drm/amd/-/issues/1001
3. Disable vsync forcefully: __GL_SYNC_TO_VBLANK=0 vblank_mode=0 wine ... whatsoever

Other than that I hope there are other users around who might know a solution as I currently do not own any such recent AMD card to reproduce it.

I've checked temps, hover around 50-60C during gameplay incl. Stutters so I don't think that's the Issue. The VSync envvars don't change anything either :/

I fixed it! Well, I didn't fix it; the Wine Devs did, but that counts right?

Using latest Wine-Staging from git (gc1824d578ac) it works flawlessly!
