firstly, there is an apparent bug w/ the drops - stage 4 drops more than stage 5, and stage 5 more than stage 6! probably the drops for stage 4 and 6 are reversed?
secondly, AliasAlreadyTaken prefers that all the drops from all stages be peanut seeds - this is a food for which the "crop" is semantically the same as the seed. the item that's now the "crop" would be gotten by roasting the seed in a furnace.
let me know what you think the correct behavior should be, and i'll create a PR :)

It is intended behaviour for the plant to carry more in the 4th and 5th stages than in the last one.
Actually, the last one is a "tired" version, because the 5th stage only exists for a brief amount of time, to allow an abm to function and let the plant "spread", thus creating little stage one plants around it.
So in my thinking, the plant "used" the seeds in the 5th stage, thus the last one doesnt carry more.
But if ou find this behaviour annoying rather than useful, i might change this.
And actually, with your suggestion, it could be a better implementation overall!
So thank you!
Ill wait for a response.
Ciao!
Thank you for reaching out!

oh my, i understand now. and you actually had comments in the code that i completely ignored, apologies. it's different from any other crop, and so a little confusing, but it think it's a neat behavior now that i understand it. as i pretty much only ever plant crops by filling up a whole field, i never observed the spreading behavior, but now i think it's quite useful :)
