Linux kernel for Asus GL702ZC
For the most part this is now a vanilla 4.14.0 kernel with the only added
patches being some to make k10temp work. The kernel .config is the more
interesting bit right now. This combination of settings make all components
work without issues. The only requirements are the firmware for the wifi
adapter. You need to place download rtlwifi/rtl8822befw.bin from the
linux-firmware repository and place it in /lib/firmware
In addition I have the 4.14.0-dc branch which merges in the AMD staging
patches for the new DC core. This has some problems, however, in particular
extreme color banding happens on the main screen. It is by no means unusuable
but it is not pleasant.
If you need help with this kernel feel free to drop me an email.
