Games that use the minetest engine typically should include the word 'test' in their name. Therefore, 'Mesecraft' is inappropriate and must be changed.
However, the theme of mese is important to the game's identity.
Therefore, the name must contain both 'Mese' and 'Test'.
Here are some examples of names that better fit the scope of the game:
Test of the Mese
World of MeseTest
Of Mese and Test
A Test of Two Meses
The Mese and the Test
The Test in the Mese
The Mese, The Test, and The Crafty (submitted by noodles)

Personally, I thought awhile about this before choosing MeseCraft as a name. I was happy to ditch Test in the name because I think its a really poor choice of a name.
MeseCraft was a good choice. "Mese" is unique to the game, or at least unique to Minetest. "Craft" not only conveys a familiarity to Minecraft, but also several other games such as WarCraft, StarCraft, and a few others. The Craft of Mese, or MeseCraft works rather well. It sounds better to people not familiar to MineTest as well. There are many threads in Minetest by people that don't like the name and don't think its catchy. I agree with them, developers and people who are accustomed to the Minetest already tend to like it. I can understand why, but it's a poor name in terms of branding or description. I found it a bit confusing when I first started. It makes it sound like its an alpha version or beta version of some project. It's OK though. I like MeseCraft.
In summary, I'm not trying to thematically stay with Minetest. Rather, I'd like the game to have broader appeal. I'm willing to dispel with the typical conventions in the community on this issue.
This post was purely a joke from late night silliness on sara's survival. As it says in the postscript, " For your safety, please disregard all seriousness."
But keep non-serious stuff to the forums please :) Issue tracker is going to have to be for issues or dev focused stuff.
